Hourly Rates

Every job is different so it is difficult to give blanket rates for freelance work. However, I will very happily give you a quote if you send me a sample of your work and tell me what the word count is. I may have other questions before I can give you a quote, but I am more than happy to discuss any project and give you an idea of how I can help and how much it would cost.

I base my hourly rates on those set out by the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (of which I am a Professional Member). You can view the minimum rates on the society’s website.

Invoicing

I invoice clients on a 30 days’ net basis and am happy to receive settlement via BACS.

I adhere to the CIEP’s Code of Practice, which means that we will agree the fees and the delivery dates before I start work and you can be assured of a professional service at all times.
